Question: Which SIG should I attend?

Answer: Two of the ICF Colorado Special Interest Groups (SIGs) meet at 6:00pm on the meeting nights, before the general program. The third SIG meets the Wednesday following the general meeting. There are currently three SIGs, arranged in a progression depending on your coaching experience:

Business Development Q&A SIG is an active group of ICF-CO members seeking to both give and receive mentoring in building a successful coaching business.

Credentialing and Core Competencies SIG supports coaches who are navigating the process of ICF Credentialing, with special focus on the key criteria that ICF uses – the Core Competencies!

Taskage™ SIG Michelle Sugerman coined the term Taskage™ to describe ‘baggage of the task’ or the negative associations coaching clients have with an unfinished activity. Michelle presents a coaching framework for addressing your clients’ concerns and co-creating an actionable plan. Move your clients closer to their REAL goals more efficiently, more effectively … PERIOD! (I encourage you to bring your own to-do list!)

Experienced Coaches Salon is designed to provide coaches with 5+ years of coaching experience a place to come together to exchange ideas, build relationships, and create a small community within ICF Colorado.

Question: As a member of ICF Colorado, may I use the ICF Colorado logo in my email signature, on my website, etc.?

Answer: Per the ICF Global (our parent organization), the mandated membership requirements for all charter chapters (ICF-CO is a charter chapter) states that all official ICF Colorado charter chapter members (i.e. our Professional Members) may use the ICF Colorado logo, but Affiliates may not use the ICF Colorado logo.

ICF Colorado Professional Members may contact Kelly Johnson, ICF-CO Virtual Assistant, to request the logo image file.

Question: How can I get more involved in the ICF Colorado?

Answer: The ICF Colorado owes its success to the many volunteers who generously give their time and energy to make it a great organization for all members. There are many ways to get involved, all of which will enhance your experience in the ICF Colorado:

Join a Committee – The Membership Committee, Marketing Committee and Education Committee are always looking for energetic members! Contact the appropriate Directors for details.

Become part of the Leadership Team – run for one of the many Board positions or become a SIG leader. Contact the President to find out more information.

Question: What is the refund policy for ICF Colorado membership and registrations?

Answer: The ICF Colorado membership (Professional and Affiliate) is a non-tangible product; therefore, we do not issue refunds once membership is purchased. If a guest of an ICF Colorado monthly meeting submitted payment for a monthly meeting and had to miss that meeting, that guest may apply his/her meeting fee toward the next month’s meeting. (Meeting fees may not be transferred to another guest or member). Guests who submit a monthly meeting fee and attend that monthly meeting may apply the meeting fee toward their membership fee if they join the ICF Colorado within 30 days of that meeting. Registration payments to programs, events, conferences, workshops, teleclasses or meetings will not be refunded within 72 hours of that event.
